Patriot Perks!

I was looking at MWS and I found out that there are Patriot Perks going on. What that is, is a rewards program for Commissary shoppers. Between June 27th, 2013 and July 24th, you can purchase $25 worth of participating brands in any CONUS Commissary and get a free Patriot Perk.

How cool is that?

There is one catch, though. The $25 worth of participating brands can not be split between more than 3 receipts.

Tacoma!

It's so freaking beautiful here it may actually make me barf from the beauty.

There are libraries and co-ops and organic food shops... it's basically a hippie's utopia :D I freaking love it here because I have:

A) A working oven
and
B) A climate suited to gardening!

FYEAH.

There are also lots of food banks and churches for those in need--which means I'm going to be doing a lot of volunteering in the future. Oh yeah. I just hope I'm not complete crap at socializing, like I usually am. Fingers crossed, guys + gals.

I have to go to the dollar store, the organic food place, the library and gas station today. You might even see me (if you're in the Tacoma area) volunteering at a local food bank.

 If you do, you're plenty welcome to say hello--I would like to make new friends. I look like this:

HI guys,

 A very frustrating day to be had here, so I'll keep it brief.

We got screwed. We got screwed hard.

We'll have to leave everything behind but clothes and electronics. Whatever we can fit into our PT Cruiser--that's what we'll have. We've tryed to rent a uHaul, but we don't have enough money for that, even. We can't take anything from El Paso with us--we can't afford it... Nothing but clothes and electronics, (small ones.)

If you know anyone who has household good or baby goods for a little boy 6-12 months old, I'd appreciate it if you spread the word. Alternatively, if you can donate a few bucks to our moving efforts, that'd be much appreciated. The paypal to use is vriosart@gmail.com.

Ivory 2-in-1 Hair & Body Wash Review

Hi guys, 

I've been busy with moving stuff but I also got Ivory 2-in-1 Hair & Body Wash to try out from Influenster! Here's my review!


OK, so I opened it and I smelled a wonderful rain forest-y clean smell. As soon as I smelled that, I had to take a shower. It foamed up wonderfully and wasn't too strong of a smell in the shower. I have that problem with a lot of body washes, they end up hurting my nose, but this one did not! 

It helped get the dirt and grime away (from hiking in the mountainous desert, no less!) I also got to use it when shaving, and it is a WONDERFUL SOAP TO USE WHEN SHAVING. BETTER THAN SHAVING CREAM. YOU HAVE NO IDEA, OMG. PLUS, NO RESIDUE, HUZZAH!

If you prefer regular body wash, though, you should check this out.

If I had to pick one thing, out of every thing, as the worst feature, though.... it would have to be the fact that after I got out of the shower I had to use conditioner just to get my brush through my hair without tangles. I do have long hair though.*

*I have REALLY LONG hair guys. REALLY LONG. Keep that in mind.

10 week Post-Partum Visit.

It went well. I weigh in at 109 lbs!
I  officially weigh less than I did when I got pregnant.
THAT IS AWESOME.

9 lbs to go for my pre-pregnancy weight loss goal!

I feel hot, man!

Skinnygirl Daily On-The-Go Bars Review

So. I got some Skinnygirl Daily On-The-Go Bars

They're pretty good. I liked the way they filled you up, because that means I have to eat less and have time to do more things... This is a super bonus for a new mom like myself. I wanna try some of the Banana Oatmeal Dark Chocolate bars. Sounds yuuuuummmy!

I ate my bar the next day after I got my Voxbox, for breakfast. It filled me up more than a bowl of Cereal and a Banana (My usual grub,) and kept me fuller, longer. I didn't even need a mid-morning snack, like I usually do.

I got the COCO-NUT flavor. I don't really like coconut usually--but it tastes pretty awesome in these bars. If these bars can make coconut taste good to me, then holy cheezeballs, batman! I gotta try more.

Oh, don't let these sit out in hot weather, or they'll get kind of shiny and a little oily. If that happens, pop 'em in the fridge for about 10 minutes and it should be better.
